What are Indoor Winter Leagues?

Winter league nights are a time to come shoot your bow in a low-stress environment with other people who love archery just as much as you do. Whether you are an avid target shooter, a bow hunter at heart, or someone just looking to have fun, leagues are the place for you.

When do 2026 Indoor Winter Leagues start and how long do they last?

Our NEW 50m league will be on Tuesdays, beginning February 3rd, and Wednesdays, beginning February 4th, will be our Lancaster-style Vegas league. We will start shooting at 6:30pm both nights and run for 8 weeks.

Where are 2026 Indoor Winter Leagues going to take place?

We are thrilled to be hosting leagues in our new building this year! Not only are we able to accommodate more shooters each night, but we are able to extend the distance as well.

What am I shooting at?

Our NEW 50m league will take place on Tuesdays and will consist of 6 ends of 6 arrows for a total of 36 arrows at 50m (apprx. 55yds). Compound shooters will shoot at an 80cm target, but will have the choice between a 10-ring target (shared with up to 3 additional archers), scoring 10 down to 1, or an individual 5-ring target, scoring 10 down to 6. All single string shooters (barebow and recurve) will shoot at a 122cm 10-ring target and will share with up to 3 additional archers.

Wednesdays will be a Lancaster-style round, which consists of 10 ends of 3 arrows for a total of 30 arrows for the night at 20 yards. Archers have the choice of shooting at a single or 3-spot 40cm Vegas target. The only difference between traditional Vegas scoring and Lancaster scoring is that Xs count as 11s. Single-spot shooters can score 11 down to a 1 before incurring a miss whereas 3-spot shooters can score 11, 10, 9, 8, 7, and 6 before incurring a miss.

Wednesdays will also have an optional elimination/shoot-down style shoot-off of some kind at the conclusion of regular scoring. Any archer choosing to compete in the shoot-off will be placed in a bracket according to their score from the night. One-end or two-end elimination matches will take place until a winner is determined. Lancaster 12-rings and mulligans are in play during elimination/shoot-up matches.

Don’t worry, if you have never shot a scoring round before we have people that can help you throughout the night. We try to pair folks new to league with veteran shooters so no one feels lost or confused.

How much does it cost?

NEW 50m League (Tuesday): $140 early bird registration or $25/person/night

Lancaster-style Vegas League (Wednesday): $120 early bird registration or $20/person/night

How do I sign up?

With our new range, we can accommodate up to 42 shooters each night which means we have more than enough room for everyone to join us! In the event that we do have more than 42 shooters, priority will be given to those who sign-up early.

Archers wishing to join our 50m league may be required to prove shooting proficiency, at our staff's discretion, prior to payment.

What if I can't make it one week?

Although we encourage league members to attend on their respective league night, we know life - or the weather - gets in the way sometimes. Therefore, make-ups may be shot anytime during standard pro-shop hours.

FRIDAY NIGHT 3D

WE'VE DONE IT IN THE PAST, BUT NOW WE ARE BRINGING IT BACK

Indoor 3D at Ohio Premier Archery has returned! Now that we aren't limited to 20 yards, we are excited to offer three lines each Friday night. Open compound shooters and those looking for a challenge will shoot from the 45-yard line, bowhunter set-ups have a 35-yard line option, and single strings will be able to walk up to a 25-yard maximum distance line.

No sign-ups required, just show up and shoot! 20 ASA targets. $25/person/week ($5 to the pot). Random draw teams. Winning team splits the pot. Novelty shots and more!

OPEN 3D

NEW TO ARCHERY AND NEVER SHOT 3D BEFORE?

Now's your chance! If you've been wanting to try 3D in a low stress environment, Saturday Open 3D is perfect for you! Every Saturday morning, we will have 15 targets set for a 25-yard and a 35-yard max distance. $20 for your first round, $15 for each additional round you wish to shoot. Score cards will be available, but you can also just shoot for fun. No sign-ups required, just show up and shoot!

Check-in anytime between 9am and 1:30pm (all shooters must be done by 3pm).

NEW LOCATION

If you haven't heard, we are moving soon! But not too far…still located in Middlefield, Ohio, we are excited to have our own space off of Georgia Road in the coming months.

November 12th, 2024

Our sign is up and we have officially announced to everyone that there will be a new home for Ohio Premier Archery in the near future.

February 13th, 2025

The building is up, roof is on, and most of the siding is installed. The weather is proving to be challenging this winter.

Our new facility will be able to accommodate roughly double the volume of shooters per event while also giving everyone space to shoot up to 50 meters. The 24-hour access range will give members the ability to practice at their convenience or during poor weather.

March 31st, 2025

We have concrete! Well....some of it. We received the first of three pours today after a tough winter for construction.

Our on-site pro shop will continue to offer top of the line services and equipment personalized to your needs.

April 10th, 2025

Radient flooring was installed and the remaining concrete was poured in what will be the new indoor range.

July 10th, 2025

The exterior entrance to the showroom is in the works. The showroom and tech area are framed and electrical work is beginning. Progress is being made daily and we are excited to show you all the final look soon!

October 8th, 2025

Interior work continues to be completed on the range, in the showroom, and in the tech area. No move-in date is set yet, but we are getting closer than ever.

It’s the time you’ve all been waiting for, we are moving!

Our current location (14980 S. State Ave.) will be open standard hours through Saturday, December 20th. We will be closed December 21st, 2025 through January 12th, 2026 to transition locations.

We are excited to see everyone at our NEW location when we reopen on Tuesday, January 12th, 2026. Please stay tuned for more details on opening day info, range memberships, leagues, and much more.
